We cannot defend our principles and build and sustain the kind of College that our community needs by acting as individuals in isolation. Especially in this moment of acute crisis for higher education, we must come together in solidarity, articulate a shared voice, and exercise collective power. AAUP-AFT is an essential organizing vehicle and a crucial means of resourcing the building of collective power. Members pay dues to AAUP national, which in turn, through the advocacy chapter dues-sharing program and other avenues, directly supports our chapter. Members also gain access to individual benefits from the AAUP and AFT. More members means more resources, a more powerful campus community, and a stronger Morehouse College.
All members join and pay dues directly through AAUP national.
Band 1 ($30,000 or less): $81 Annually ($6.75 Monthly)*
Band 2 ($30,001-$40,000): $105 Annually ($8.75 Monthly)
Band 3 ($40,001-$50,000): $136 Annually ($11.33 Monthly)
Band 4 ($50,001-$60,000): $166 Annually ($13.83 Monthly)
Band 5 ($60,001-$70,000): $228 Annually ($19.00 Monthly)
Band 6 ($70,001-$80,000): $265 Annually ($22.08 Monthly)
Band 7 ($80,001-$100,000): $298 Annually ($24.83 Monthly)
Band 8 ($100,001-$120,000): $327 Annually ($27.25 Monthly)
Band 9 (More than $120,000): $358 Annually ($29.83 Monthly)
*If you are retired and no longer receive an academic income, you would fall under salary band 1.

The AAUP is affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers/AFL-CIO. As a member of the AAUP you are also a member of the American Federation of Teachers. These rates apply to non-collective bargaining members. Those not eligible for active membership are welcome to support the AAUP's work by joining as associate members.
